Investigated in Federal Court - Our Fess

FEES AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Fees for Federal representation on felony charges generally range between $25,000 and $50,000, plus expenses, by experienced Federal practitioners. Some misdemeanor or simple cases may call for a lesser amount, and some highly complex cases for more. If you do not have this kind of money to hire an attorney, don't go hire someone for a lesser amount (especially a significantly lesser amount). There are specially appointed attorneys in Federal court (CJA panel attorneys) and a good public defender program, either of which is a better choice than hiring a bargain basement lawyer who gets you nothing but a long prison term. So, if you do not have the money to hire a good attorney, ask for an appointed attorney. You will probably get a better attorney than you could afford, plus that attorney has important Federal resources available that a retained attorney would be harder-pressed to get.
